Music at the Muse

The Woodpecker’s Muse is excited to get you and the talent that you represent involved in the galleries endeavors to bring music and art together.

We are currently accepting submissions of press kits or anything of like (audio samples, bios, etcetera) to help us aid in determining which acts would best align with our expanding vision for the gallery.  Stylistically we are open to most genres from jazz to progressive rock, from electronic to folk, from funk to experimental and anything in between.  Due to a desire to honor the aesthetic that The Woodpecker’s Muse promotes we will most likely steer clear from anything “dark” or heavy for the time being, although everything will be considered out of respect.

The intimate setting of the gallery allows for aspiring artist to bring their talent to the mass by participating in opening receptions held in conjunction with Lane Arts Council First Friday Artwalk which are held monthly.   We have primarily held “free” events but are working towards a concept event that will “pair” music and art with a stimulating brew and top notch cuisine.
